You can access each MIDI-channel (which you can freely assign each of
the four AN200 tracks to) by an external sequencer and use the AN200
in this way as a soundmodule, or to trigger patterns. But you are
right you can´t send a whole song at once, what you would´ve to do is
record with a sequencer the outgoing MIDI-data, while your AN200 is
playing a song.

No that doesn´t work, since the AN200 sequencer is very basic and not
a full MIDI-sequencer like the one inside the RM1x/RS7000/QY700.
It works internally with it´s own data-format. Unless you record the
outgoing MIDI-data with a sequencer, WHILE the song/pattern is play
you can´t edit a bulk-song-data dump. If you record your song on a
sequencer, you can rearrange it on the sequencer and use the AN200
then as a sound-module to play the rearranged song. Or as i already
mentioned earlier, you can edit the pattern with the AN200-Editor and
load them into the AN200 and then rearrange those to a new song.
Of course you can always edit sounds with the AN200-Editor or AN1x-
Edit and download or upload them to the AN200.
