Sorry - to explain: AN200 patterns are limited to 16 steps; I wanna
be able to loop a pattern, triggering a 32-step-length external
sample (ie runs for length of two pattern loops) by a note on pattern
rhythm track.
Since the free EG is the only control I have within the AN200 that
can be set to run over a time period greater than 16 steps (it can be
set to run over lengths of 2 patterns, 4 patterns etc), I was curious
to work out whether I could use Free EG to silence the second trigger
note (as the pattern returns to play its second loop. and avoid
retriggering the 32-step-length sample loop?
Does this make sense?
Jeez... maybe I should just buy an external hardware sequencer!
