I don't use Cubase, but the following is general information about using the AN1x ...
There are some limitations to the "multitimbral" operation of the AN1x, since it's not really a multitimbral synth in the usual sense of the word. You cannot call up different patches on each channel; all you can do is play two different SCENES of the same patch. To do this, you need to set the two scenes to different receive channels, and you must be using the AN1x in Dual/Dual Unison or Split/Split Unison mode at the time. Also, should probably have Local Off set, with the Tx channel set to the same value as the scene that you want to play directly from the keyboard.
