I would like to say that XP has been a nice experience for me so far, I
haven't done any heavy work yet, but I have 2 PC's 1 intel, 1 AMD, both
running 98 and XP dualboots, so we'll see how they both fare over the
next few months.

BTW. He is also looking at a Sony VAIO as that got a good write up on
RME, and they come in a little bit cheaper than the Red submarine. I
think that it is a really hard decision for anyone to make, Especially
as he is going to spend 2 or 3 times the amount of money for a similarly
spec'ed PC.
