Yes indeed and for almost the same price of a MB33II you can get a
Waldorf Pulse which i forgot to mention...another affordable German
analogue synth..that one offers more variety in sounds than the MB33.
The MB33II is indeed not bad, i used to have the old MB33, and i
liked the sound, but IMO you can create the same kind of 303ish
basses with the AN1x and the filter of the AN1x are (again IMO)
better.

Check out also the above mentionend Waldorf Pulse...try to get the
Pulse+, that one has Audio-in´s...
It´s a bit more expensive than the MB33, but still around the price
range of $US300.- (s/h).
