All,
Let me take a moment to plug one of my favorite "MIDI glue" devices, the
MIDI Solutions Router. This little line-powered device can split out and
re-channelize almost any MIDI message. I've used it to re-map the Mod
wheel from one synth to another, to divide up the Program Change messages
among a series of modules, and to filter out unwanted information from the
MIDI data stream. It's less than $100US (street price), and one of the few
items in may arsenal that I will never part with.
And no, I don't work for MIDI Solutions!
Regards,
-BW
