On first thought, it sounds like it has to go on the bench... but wait. I
had some TERRIBLE problems with mine after loading up some patches, so I
re-initialized it to the factory settings and it fixed everything. The
re-init procedure is in the back of the manual somewhere. hope this works
for you

Go here...http://www.yamaha.com/service.htm

Also do you think it would be bad to use the

The only way to determine where the problem lies is, as Ed implied,
through process of elimination. You're running the synths to a Line
Mixer and then to a main mixer, right? So, unplug everything and
reconnect each instrument individually. I'd suggest removing one or
the other mixer from the equation to begin with and repeat the
exercise with each mixer. If the Yamaha continues to misbehave in
each circumstance then at least you have something definite to take
to Yamaha tech support.

I suspect it will okay to run off the headphone output for the time
being. Depending on your monitoring situation, i.e., mono vs. stereo,
you might require a stereo y-cable.

Let us know how it works out.

Interesting in a sort of 70s prog way..................a lil PFM and
triumvirat in there eh?.......ric
The musicianship was good.....................production a lil
lacking.........but you may want that live sound. Sounds like it was playing
through a peavy PA.

Hi,
is it safe to use the new win2000 drivers.I noticed that fellow members have
noticed directX errors in cubase5,WHEN going into directX setup, especially
when you use 2 soundcards(one supporting directX).The previous driver was ok
when steinburg released patch R5.With these new drivers the problem looks as
though it has returned according to fellow users comments?Has enyone tested
it in the latest version of cubase5?

I'm sorry but it sounds to me as though you've answered your own
question.

"With these new drivers the problem looks as though it has returned
