HI Dan
>>i also wanted to give 2 suggestions. sometimes when you turn the knobs
in xgedit it takes some effort to get the value you want sometimes.
it would be cool if you can type the value in the boxes and also turn
the knobs (best of both worlds).<<
I didn't allow typing entries into XGedit/An1xEdit as most of the values
are derived from lookup tables (i.e. not all typed values would be
valid). However you can increase the accuracy of the mouse control by
holding both mouse buttons down. Alternatively, simply highlight the
control and use the PC keyboard + and - keys to increment/decrement
values.
>>
another cool thing is to sync. delays. i'm no programmer but i think
it might not be possible or mabye to hard to sync. the delays of
xgedit to a sequencer like cubase (i don't know?)
<<
The XG/PLGAN devices do not have a tempo delay effect like the AN1x. As
such there is no way to lock delay effects to sequencer tempo. You can
approximate synchronisation by calculating the effective millisecond
delay setting...but it will not truly 'sync' to the sequencer!
As for XGedit, I have no plans to upgrade the application further in its
current format. I am working on other projects at the moment, including
a format to allow plugin MIDI editors within sequencers. However its
going to be some time before an XGedit in this format is released.
