You can also set the wheel so that it works backwards (wheel up = bend
down), or even so that both directions cause the same kind of bend. I have
a couple of patches where, PBUp = +2 and PBDn = +24: This way I get a
guitar-like bend when pushing up, and a wild bend like violinists use on
the end of solos in the other direction. Another trick is to set PBUp and
PBDn to +1. I use this to make a vibrato/tremolo similar to the bellows
shake that accordionists do.
