Yep. I noticed it too when I worked on a song this morning, my 'problem' was that I had recorded some parameters in my sequencer when I was fooling around with some strings. So when I chose another patch(voice in yahama terms) and played the song the parameter changes were also applied on the new patch, so I thought that the knobs were sending midi all the time. My JX305 works exactly the same, altough the sound engine is not as good as the an1x, it has a lot of sounds in it and you can do a lot with it. Personally I think that with my ASR10 sampler, it makes a pretty cool/practical setup. I work most of my hollydays to buy more stuff and so I can't afford to buy a lot of extra cool but not neccesary stuff. By da way where both dutch anyway ( I noticed the dot nl :))).
I think Yahama will come with a new AN ?X cause the AN1xes were pretty cheap half the price this christmas. My friend bought one when it was just out, I bought it a few months ago. So I'm pretty new with it all. The AN1X-editor on the pc is great. So is the support on the net. I like that.

Thanks

M

M., In my case the parameters are send through midi only when i turn the knobs. If the the settings are different from the ones as are stored in the patch it won't be recorded by midi. So if i modified the default patch sound before starting to record it via midi, i firstly store the patch and then start recording. I guess your JX305 works similar? Anyway, hope this helps,Ekosonic
