big thanks to Gary G., Reggie and all those who helped me configure my
setup.

If anyone is having setup problems with cubase vst 5.0r4, hubbis
loopback 2.5, PlgAN edit for the plg150An and Xgedit for the SW1000xg
this is how the experts told me to configure them so they would work.
AND WORK IT DID!!!!!

in cubase,
under setup mme,
the mme inputs should look like this..
SW1000 MIDI IN
LB1 AND LB2 SHOULD BE ACTIVE
LB3 AND LB4 SHOULD BE SET INACTIVE.

the mme outputs should look like this...
SW1000#1 SYNTH
SW1000#2 SYNTH
SW1000 MIDI OUT
LB1 AND LB2 SHOULD BE SET INACTIVE
LB3 AND LB4 SHOULD BE ACTIVE

in the midi setup in the inputs dropdown list the following should be
checkmarked...
SW1000 MIDI IN
LB1
LB2

midi input should be...
SW1000 MIDI IN MAPPED TO SW1000 MIDI IN

midi output should be...
SW1000#1 SYNTH MAPPED TO SW1000#1 SYNTH

IMPORTANT!!!! in the midi filter the only thing that should be
checkmarked is the sysex thru in the record section!!
.......................
plg150an edit should be setup as follows...
midi in= none
midi out= sw1000#1 synth
........................
xgedit should be setup as follows...
midi= in none
midi out A=LB1
midi out b sw1000#1 synth
............................
hubis 2.5 should be configured as follows...
INPUT= LB1
OUTPUT= SW1000#1 SYNTH

hubbis shoud be installed as 'new hardware' in the control pannel
(just like how a driver should be installed).

when you have all the above applications going together and things
don't work properly mabye the sysex size is too small.
if that is the case go to the win.ini file in the windows folder
look for the hubbis loop back section and under the sysex size change
it to 2048. if you don't see anything that says sysex (which was my
case) type SysExSize=2048 in an available line underneath the outputs
line in the win.ini file. i think case matters when typing this
(though i'm not shure). when you exit the win.ini file it will ask you
if you want to save canges, say yes.

also make shure you have the latest drivers on the sw1000xg!!!

you should now be able to play the plg150an and edit it with plgan
edit, pass it thru the sw1000xg's effects and edit those with xg edit
and record everything into cubase. remember all the above programs
should be started.

make shure that plgan edit is set to the same channel as the one you
want to record it to in cubase. if you want to apply sw100xg effects,
xgedit shoud be set to that channel as well.

in a rare case (which is mine) if you try to record the plg150an into
cubase on channel 1 you can't hear what you are recording. i set my
plg150an to channel 2 to overcome this but for some reason if i want
to add sw1000xg effects i have to set those effects to part 1 in
xgedit eventhough the plg is on channel 2.

i hope i covered everything and that there are no mistakes.

thanks to all who helped!!!!

a very happy and less stressful
