Well many others and my self have rasied issues to do with win2k.It has potential but needs futher development in the driver/software front which will solve most of our problems!
However,Yamaha need to push things further as more more pc audio buddies are going towards this direction.Including highend software companies providing compatability!The latest yamaha win2k asio drivers are still not upto the bench mark compared to orther hardware manufactures.
Im very disapointed with stienburg as well,my last converstion with tech support/developers on 8/5/01 ...... THEY SAID STAY AWAY FROM WIN2000 WE ARE NOT INTERESTED,AS TO YAMAHA DRIVERS ,WELL WE DONT LIKE THEM.How disgrasefull.
So come on yamaha full speed ahead lets show them somthing!
Its about time we moved away from win95/98.I know win2000 is almost there it needs a bit of help from YAMAHA AND FULL SUPPORT.....NO BETA VERSIONS ANY MORE,NO MORE DEVELOPMENT ON WIN95/98.......Must look forword now.I have tested win2000 on multimedia/games front too though it has its limitations in this area its not that far of from w95/98.Infact some games run beter?
Anyway back to music ....COME ON YAMAHA NEED MORE DEVELOPMENT AND FULL SUPPORT...I KNOW U GUYS CAN DO IT.i Would love to help,but dont have programing skills only systems support.
