Subject: SV: [AN1x-list] AN1xEdit v1.1

This is just an idea,

But if you wanted to make some money, (I don'tknow how many were sold, but that could easily be found out) and could easily adapt the source code for the Anix Edit, you could make a similar interface for, for one example the DR770 Drum machine.
The user interface (manually..not using MIDI) is pretty difficult. I've seen a similar one that is out for the DR660, and am amazed that they never even bothered to market a PC interface for the DR770. It is a great drum machine, but almost impossible to keep track of the drumkits, user patterns, songs...and it is REALLY easy to delete things you didn't mean to. also very difficult to clean up...you don't dare erase a user pattern until you go through each song and make sure it doesn't refer back to it.

Anyway, it is just an idea. I know a lot of folks on the VS880 (Roland recorder) list that would be interested, I know I would buy it...and I am willing to bet a high percentage of folks that have bought the DR770 would buy it.

Just an idea.
