I don't remember exactly but this tech told me that
they fixed some bugs and put in a smoother filter and arp sync etc.
I never had a 'Pulse' so I can't compare them.
Waldorf saying that it is the same unit but do you remember
back in the 80's Roland said that all Super-Jupiter are the same ?
well, that is not the truth,
My older version Super-Jupiter sounds much better/punchy/warmer and with
a cool distorted filter Vs my other/newer Version super-Jp that I sold
after 2 months.
about the Pulse/An1x,
what I meant was that while the Pulse plus is a mono 1 voice synth
the AN1x can play 10 voices...
but the Pulse has real analog VCO's and that is the most
crucial difference in favore of the pulse.
and...
from all the VA's out there
only 2 make sence to me
the AN1X and the Prophecy.
I tried all the VA synths and they just didn't do it for me.
the AN1X and the Prophecy ( not the board in the Trinity..)
are pure classic VA synths.

I'm waiting for the Andromeda to come out,
I hope that Roland Korg and Yamaha will learn a lesson from
Alesis and move their asses toward crating a great Analog
contest.
It is up to us the customers to buy Analog again,
and from reading the manual of the Alesis A-6 Andromeda
I can already say that there is not a single synth on this planet
Analog Digital or VA that even come close to the sheer power
of this synthesizer.
you will be able to run synths/audio thru its stereo analog input.
( the oulse has a mono in only )
Now,
take a AN1x and run it in stereo thru the Alesis filters...
