I'm not sure if you're looking for "how to play" tips, but I'll offer one anyway :) Back
at the dawn of time, when I was taking piano lessons, my teacher had me learn to play
without making any sound. I had to play a piece, depressing each key fully, but without
"triggering" any notes. This is quite difficult to do, but is a very good exercise for
developing a light touch. On a synthesizer it would require choosing a patch that will
produce no sound at very low velocity settings. You might select such a patch and spend
some time trying to get your music to come out as soft as possible by playing ∗very∗
slowly, deliberately, and softly. Although this isn't the most fun practice, it will
definitely pay off ! :)
