The filters on the Yamaha A series are pretty hot too. They are probably
unbeatable for sound weirding!

Well. I had the same choice...older Akai or Esi 2000 or 4000.
I chose the emi4000, because the filters are more powerfull than Akai
filters.
It really depends in what kind of music you make.....dance-->esi
