∗∗Hi Jake,
∗∗Congrats for your new synth...be sure that you'll enjoy some very good
time w/ it just like I (and everyone else) do...:-)
Well I have been on the list here sense I ordered my AN1x but now I have it
in my hands and boy is it impressive. This is my first synth and looks like
it is going to be A LOT of fun. I got it used and it is in great shape. It
looks like it doesn't have any of the factory sounds and not that it is that
important but is there somewhere I can get the full set of sounds? Just so
I can play with what the factory give you before I make my own and what not.
∗∗There's a lot of patches, including the factory and other Yamaha's sets,
at the list's Files page. You may get the URL at the bottom of this message.
And be sure that you may use any sound you want for the time you need..:-)
This is pretty much my first synth other than my akai ak73 that I am
planning on using as a controller for a software sampler and keying off
sequences and what not. Any suggestions to getting started and stuff?? I
want to be able to do live stuff on top of studio stuff
∗∗First of all you shall get the AN1x's instrument definition file for
Cakewalk (if you're using it, of course). This synth have great control
capabilities, so I don't think you'll have any trouble using it as a
controler beside the fact that it can't transmit more then one channel at
the same time.
