If i remember well the test of one of the first Studiologic synths, they said that sometimes notes can "freeze" with complex patches and maximum polyphony. The "sound engine" being made by Waldorf i guess that the OS was not completely tested and debugged at this time...
Cheers.

Was thinking the same thing about the SLEDGE (BTW, what 'bugs' did the early ones have?)----- Original Message -----Sent: Thursday, December 18, 2014 3:11 PMSubject: re: [AN1x] new virtual analog

I guess you don't need 5 octaves to run a boomy bass line and throw in some robotic sequences... Cheap but with a "normal" keyboard, here is the Studiologic Sledge, with 3 oscillator and a flashy yellow color. Not bad at all for the price and i suppose they've corrected the few bugs of the first ones.
