The LH531024 is the mask ROM OTP chip. The eprom equivalent should be the 27C1024. These eproms are readily available on Ebay.

Does anyone have a picture of their eprom and/or the main board with it mounted? If so could you please send these to my email. narfman96 at yahoo dot com

I thought I counted 42 pins in the battery replacement pics I found for the AN1X. This is not right for these chips....

Thank you, Fran

Maybe it would be a good idea to put the file in the Files section?

Thanks ;-)

Vadim,

Thank you for the file! The file you sent is a 1mb file. This means that the eprom must be a 27C040 or 27C4001 4096k chip. These eproms are more expensive than the smaller 256k or 512k chips. No biggie it is still an easy thing to make I just need to get some more of these eproms....

Thanks again, Fran

Fran, check your email

But the Rom chip used in AN1x is not the same as in Rm1x as far as I know.
Chip used in Rm1x is still available and cheap. But I didn't find chip used in AN1x.

I had a similar issue with my RM1x, but some very helpful members of the yahoo group, uploaded a bin file into the files area. Another member offered to burn and supply the latest os chip for a few pounds.
I was easily able to update then to the latest os.

Does require a couple of members who have relevent equipment and knowledge. It was an excellent example of self help among group members.

Unfortunately, I only have version 1.02 as well.
