do you have the volume turned up the edit section? I forget exactly where it is, but in the soft buttons over on the right, there's a setting for master volume. I was editing patches recently and ran into a similar problem, and it was just that the volume on the edit side needed to be turned up (and the vca, and the master volume knob).

When connected to my interface (line level inputs), I have to boost AN1x by around 6 - 12 dB in order to get a strong signal. (I do this in Ableton, not via preamp for obvious reasons.) This is with the volume knob all the way up, including both factory patches and my own. The interface only accepts XLR, so I've got TS to XLR cables (I'm told this is better than using balanced cables to connect unbalanced gear).


Any ideas? I've heard the power supply might be the issue.
