I also think it's patronising to refer to the OP as a "kid", making the implication that because s/he asked a question you personally view as basic, s/he must be unable to process nuance, uncertainty, and really any non-trivial volume of information such as the points I offered.
Besides: If the OP has a problem with my posts, let them complain. It's their thread, not yours, so I fail to see what gives you the right to dictate how I should or should not reply.
