Hi !
I use (successfully !) an inexpensive PRODIPE MIDI 1i/1o USB - MIDI
cable with my AN1x and other synths with Windows XP SP3.
Beware of Vista, if its lifetime was so short there was some reason...
MIDI - USB cables or cards is a recurrent topic on this forum : some
work and others not, whatever their brand or price. I guess there are
some drivers issues with ones, or hardware buffer size on others. These
can handle keyboard data (note, pitch bend ..) but not sysex messages.
Cheers.
