Subject: Re: No sound output due to low battery?

If the AN1x looks as if it were damaged in shipping, don't make any changes to it. Have the shipper inspect it and the packaging. Very likely they might say the packing was insufficient (happened to me that way) and deny responsibility. If that happens, and the seller still refuses to man up, your next step would be to report it to eBay and claim against their Buyer Protection.

The first time I booted it, I did the reset (7-8-9) and it entered the main screen. I could change programs, but none produced any audio. Tried both jack and the headphones.

This is in Germany, where the word 'sorry' doesn't get much use. The seller says it was ok when he shipped, and scoffed any responsability. I opened a complaint on paypal... we'll see.
