Subject: osc sync and pulse width mod

Hi:
Try this:
1: Use the Filter Envelope Generator for the source of the pulse width modulation (pwm).
2. Use the saw up II wave to modulate the pwm.
3: Use Osc 2 as a second fm source for osc sync gets some interesting effects, especially if osc 2 is tuned an octave higher.
You can't use osc 2 as a control signal. No volume, no effect. Therefore you can't use a pitch envelope on osc 2 to further modulate osc 1. The patch will just drift out of tune
4: Use the free eg to turn up the high pass filter to thin the sound over time. Osc Sync can get harsh.
5: Set the edge parameter so the osc 1 wave is a sine wave for osc sync.
Finally: nothing to do with osc sync or pwm. Set the mod wheel so it controls the wet dry mixture, then choose phase shifter as an effect. This lets you use the mod wheel like a foot pedal getting a nice sound that's like a wha wha but not quite--a 70s reggae kind of sound.
Have fun
