Subject: An1x hangs midi notes

Dear blue beats's friends id like your help with the following.
ive connected an1x with a cheap usb to midi cable did all proper virtual connections on my mac and after when i try to record a pattern in logic i get stuck notes. during the recording only, not in playback. any suggestions?
