Sorry for the delay, but i see someone else has answered, thanks Henrik.
I can't say better...
You can use alcohol to clean the contacts with the cotton tip, or a
special contact cleaner sold in electronics DIY shops. Don't use
anything else, no thinner, benzin or trichlorethylene for ex.
Take care of the screws, the case is mostly plastic.
