Hi Adriano
Yes, its not always easy to play as straight as a professional.
I could not find a possibility to let the An1X ARP free run.

Of course you can use a trick. With An1X Editor it it possible to create own ARP's using the Free EG. Free EG can be triggered by Key or free. Of course you must first emulate the ARP with the FREE EG Funktions. And thats not always easy to do.
An1X Editor is not providing an exact grafic frame. So you must create exact timing by your own. I crated an template an example in my free An1X Sound File.
http://home.arcor.de/richardon/richy2001/frame.htm
Sound Number 58 "Free EG" is an Template for Free EG ARP.
Sound Number 54 "EG Relax" is an Free EG Emulation of the Relax ARP.
54 is not perfect in timing. But you can improve that and run it free or key triggered.
Also change the Filter Envelope.
BTW :
I programmed it simply with an pitch up function. This function is quantisized in Free EG.
You dont hear that so i let it be.
Some people dont like, that AN1X is producing quantisized pitch function. Thats only a matter
of (wrong, right) programming. Using the Pitch Envelope Generator for pitch modulations you will always have high resolution pitch controle. This An1x is an machine for engineers.
Best VA I know :-)

Best regards
richy

Subject: [AN1x] AN1x arpeggiator

Hi everyone,

there's an issue with the arpeggiator which bugs me, it seems that the pattern always resets when I change chords, even in Hold mode, which is a nuisance because you have to be extremely precise when changing chords, otherwise the arpeggio will drift out of tempo (I'm a sloppy player, I admit, and anyway I'm used with my other equipment to change chords a few instants earlier than the beat), is there a way making the arpeggio hard-sync to tempo like the sequencer does? I have OS ver. 1.02, not the latest, by the way, what kind of improvements are there in later versions of the OS?

Thanks,
Adriano
