Another idea :
if your Mac is powerful enough, run a Windows emulator, then AN1x edit.
These librarian - editor softwares are not so huge and so fast....
I'm sure it will work, it works in a research lab (power electronics) to
control measurement and test equipments whose drivers are "Windows only"
with a Mac (2009) . The only issue could be with the USB - MIDI
interface...
