First affect a MIDI controller number to one of the knobs of the AN1x.
The CC number must be recognized by your EMU, and of course do what you
want it to do, and likely do nothing to the AN1x itself. Unless you want
to change one parameter on both synths with the same knob...
Then check if this type of MIDI input data is not filtered by the EMU, a
lot of instruments have a more or less flexible incoming data filter, to
avoid the processing of useless data by the processor, which is rarely a
race engine....

of both instruments...
