I've seen the PA130 mentioned before, but searched the group and couldn't find any mention of anyone actually using it on an AN1x. Power specs are correct but Yamaha doesn't give you the plug dimensions or polarity. They say it "replaces" the PA3C, but the PA3C is not discontinued; the PA130 is just a different type (switching vs transformer)

But the original AN1x power supply was the PA3B, and Yamaha doesn't mention a replacement for it. I don't know if the PA3C has the same plug; I've never seen an original AN1x power supply. ;-) In any event, the PA130 doesn't sound like a slam-dunk replacement, unless someone here can report successfully using one.

I've used Arcade Electronics as a source of cheap power supplies for a couple different synths. The Arcade website lets you choose voltage, amperage, polarity, and plug size. This is the one I got for the AN1x:

Its plug is slightly shorter than "standard" so it may be a bit less secure, but I've been gigging with it for 5 years with no problems. It was only about $6 but the shipping was $7, total about $13.

The PA130 - assuming the plug fits! - ∗should∗ be more reliable because it's a switching power supply instead of the old-school transformer. But the only switching power supply I ever owned - a OneSpot used to power pedals - failed after 2 years. No matter what kind of power supply you end up with, always have a spare handy.
