If you want to sequence chords from the AN1X, set the layer to dual so you have 4 osc, set each osc at a different frequency--I set mine up so you press one key and get a McCoy Tyner kind of quartal harmony thing. Then have the sequencer play one note over and over. That will make a boring, static repeating chord. Then go to the free eg (set the trigger to all)and play with the volume of each osc. Now the chord changes over time--more notes, less notes rhythmically. If you set the control data on the sequencer to control the filter and set things up so the loop alternates, you can get some hypnotic sounds. It's interesting to set each osc to a different wave--and have osc 1 in each scene be synced for more variation.

You can also set up the sequencer with a split point so you can have 20 different sequences on one side, and control the start note of the sequence with the other hand, so you can get the chords to change key and the patterns to change in real time.

I haven't tried this with the arpeggiator, but I don't see why that wouldn't work either.
