Subject: Re: Still needing help with bulk receive

Hi,

I'm convinced I replied to somebody three/four weeks back with the same question, but I can't see my reply.

Anyway, it's simply a case of using whatever you captured the SYSEX data with to send it back to the AN1x. You don't need to do anything with the AN1x but ensure that it's on and ready to receive data.

The only things to watch out for are
1) Of course save any data you are going to overwrite if you need to
2) Whilst most people don't set it (and the default is "all", the SYSEX Device Number of the AN1x, if not set to "all" has to match the Device Number when the data was saved (possibly something that might have changed when the battery was changed). This is Utility/Device Number in the switch matrix. If it is set to "all" then effectively any transmitting device number is ignored.

So just send the data! :-)

Cheers
Derek

No one responded to my original post. Hopefully someone out there knows something about this. I would think that this issue comes up whenever one needs to change the battery. The manual oddly leads you through the bulk dump process step by step but not so with the bulk receive. I would so appreciate any help with this.
