It's easy to control An200 midi channels from an external sequencer, but it seems to be impossible to control external samples from our little box.

I would like to trigger 4 different tracks from the An200 to my MPC500, using a different program (drumkit) for each mpc's track, and 4 differents midi channels, one for each an200's midi channels.
I would like to use An200 as master and the mpc as slave, using the 16 steps sequencer from yamaha, hearing only the mpc's samples, not an200 ones.

The only result i have obtained is to trigger ONE mpc track, the one selected in MPC in that moment, BUT with ALL the an200 channels MERGED!!! Not one for track.... If i change track, and so the samples assigned to it, the an200 will command that other track selected on the mpc screen.

The midi channels indicated are ignored, so the little box seems to have the ability to receive different midi channels, but to send the 4 channels merged as one.........

Someone got a trick to do this? Or there's no hope? :)

dan
