YES, of course. The battery type is ∗CR2450∗, it looks like a coin and
you can find it in electronics, computer or jewelry shops. The battery
is inside the AN1x (funny...) on the motherboard, near the back of the
case. Normally you cannot put it in the wrong way in its socket; the "+"
side is facing you, the "-" is the bottom of the socket. Obviously all
your beloved and favorite patches are gone.... Perform a "factory reset"
and then you can load your sounds from your computer

YES, unless you download them previously on your computer using AN1xedit
or even any software able to handle MIDI files. And obviously you have
to throw then back in your synth when the battery is replaced.
