The diference its easy to guess...
 
in the RevC. thers an smaller chip, but no Big chip
in the RevB. the small chip is gone, but theres a Big chip
 
i guess its a memory chip,
big ones are discontinued, and smaller chips becomed cheaper.

I've uploaded a (somewhat crappy) picture of both cards - one with / one without IC2. They both work fine, so I'm -really- curious what this chip's purpose is.
