Subject: Does anybody have both an AN1x and AN200?

Hi,

I'm author of an.factory (www.xfactory-librarians.co.uk).

I'm currently doing a major update so that an.factory will support the AN1x (which it does), the PLG150-AN and the AN200, including translating between the device formats so that you can use AN1x voices (first scene) on the PLG150-AN and AN200 and PLG150-AN/AN200 voices on the AN1x.

This includes the program being adapted to be able to support two devices simultaneously.

I've always wanted the ability for this so that I can create patches on the AN1x and transfer them to the PLG150-AN that I have in my Motif Rack ES.

Anyway, I'm asking the question given in the title of this post as I'm looking for somebody with both who could beta test the program to ensure that the conversions between the two are as good as possible (note they can never be perfect if certain features of either model are used)

If somebody has both synths and would like to help, in return I will provide a free license for an.factory.

I suppose the other permutation I'd be interested in is if somebody has both the PLG150-AN (in a suitable host) and AN200.

I of course can check between the AN1x and PLG150-AN.

Once this is complete, and once I've done some work on my FS1R librarian, the next big job (probably later in the year) is to start adding editor support to the apps, and I think the AN1x will be my first candidate.

So if you'd like to help me please get in touch

Cheers
Derek

PS: don't forget that these librarians work on both PCs and MAC OSX
