i got the crackle pop sound to just the other day,.... i plugged my an1x into a power strip that had my girlfriends computer/speakers/monitor ect connected and the pops and crackles were Very loud !!,....i checked the psu and found it wasnt flush with the power strip ,.....i have a feeling the psu wasnt getting the electric from the power strip ,....it coulda been the other things connected to the power strip too maybe draining the electric and not enough getting to the psu.

Don't forget the CURRENT rating : 700 mA minimum. The voltage in itself
is not enough, it must be able to supply 12 v even loaded with the AN1x .
