Welcome to AN1x-list, congrats on the new synth.

Never heard of this specific issue, but I would ask if you checked the Portamento value to determine if it was set to an extreme value that would result in what could perceived as an abnormal lag in between note ons.

It's not uncommon for the ribbon connectors for the controllers to become unseated or loose after shipment or long periods of disuse.My suggestion is to a) perform a factory reset if you've not already and b) open the case (with some patience and a screw driver) and reseat all the cable connectors to the main board.
