Hello Tommy !

i'm very surprised of your adventures with AN1x edit and Windows XP... usually it works. Maybe your installation file is corrupted? Try to find an alternative source and retry.
The AN1x has 128 sound memories which are all in RAM, you can overwrite the factory sounds with your own. But there is a reset procedure (see on the group's website... or your user manual) to restore all these sounds if you want.
If you only want to store and load your sound files without any mod you can use "MIDI Ox" which is a freeware esaily available on the web. Of course in this case they are not stored as ∗.an1 files but as standard MIDI files.
Cheers.
J.F.

> The AN1x editor does not work under Windows XP professional (SP2). To be correct - you can not install it under Windows XP - the installer will not even start.
