It's Young Chang, the South Korean piano maker.
On the other hand, I don't think Akai is Japanese anymore. Basically Akai's US
division (Akai Musical Instrument Corp. USA) last year bought out the Akai
Japanese and UK musical instrument divisions. So though the Akai company is a
Japanese company, the company in charge of Akai's musical instrument products is
American...They're based in Fort Worth, Texas.
