When comparing the AN1x to the PLG150-AN plgin card, Yamaha seemed to
have given the card a few extra sound creation capabilities over the
An1x - like a new waveform (Doublesaw) plus more LFO2 waveforms &
routings.
Even though the card lacks the scenes & has less polyphony, is it
really capable of making sounds that are considerably different to the
AN1x?

OR, are there techniques that can be done with the AN1x that allow it
to 'compensate' & thus create similar or identical sounds anyway? -
Like re-creating a doublesaw type effect on the AN1x?
