Crap... "of war and peace , the truth just twists" as said the poet.. On my own CZ i've programmed the bass synth line sound of "Phaedra" (by Tangerine Dream), using the envelope unusually to get a fake echo, the "real" lead sound of the well known "Oxygen" by J.M.J., a Klaus Schulze space pad in "Moondawn"... just add a few external reverb, there is none in any CZ synth, and here we are. Don't forget these keyboards are 20 years old...
Someone has posted a message one or 2 years ago about a project of "old school" case for his AN1x, no more news.. I'll be interested in such mods...
One suggestion:
the main part of the case , where the knobs and switches are , could be a folded metal sheet, the main issue is the amount of rectangular holes for these switches. If you have a friend in metal work job... or a cooperative professional in your neighbourhood. Each side and the front part under the keys can be simple pieces of wood, but that would be a much more easier task for a DYIer.
