Neither could I - and I would use a VL instrument (like my EX5) anyway,
because it's near impossible to do with an analogue (modelling) synthesiser.
But it got me thinking: how do people create their new sounds? Do you take a
preset and tweak it, or do you start from scratch?
In the latter case, the more experienced users (I'm not experienced, I just
got an opinion on everything :) ) could show us how certain sounds are
created.
For example, I believe a synth string is created by a saw wave in both
oscillators, that are slightly detuned, right?
