Subject: Editing Question

Hi, After having my AN1x for a little while, I'm now thinking about
getting into editing it, and I have a question, which I can't find the
answer to in the manual, unless I'm being thick! [:)]

I'll ask my question by an example: there's a patch I'm looking to edit
which has the delay effect unit set up as LCR delay, with delay settings
of 600ms and I want to make that much shorter. Whilst I've know you use
the matrix and associated buttons for incrementing and decrementing
those delay values, it takes ages for the parameters to adjust whilst
just holding down the relevant matrix button. And Life's too short to
wait for the inc/dec on the matrix buttons at the rate they go at! [:)]

What I'm missing is a way to enter in a value directly (e.g. typing in
200 on the keypad for a 200ms delay, which I can do on my EX5), or using
one of the knobs to set the value. But typing on the AN1x keypad just
seems to change the patch.

Any advice appreciated. Is what I want to do even possible?

Cheers
Derek
