Welcome to the club !
you'll meet interesting and sometimes funny people, mostly music and
electronics enthusiasts. Have a look at :
http://www.virb.com/von_haulshovenfor example, to see what you can do with your AN1x. OK, Eppie uses other
instruments too, but not a lot, no computer, only a hardware sequencer
and a multitrack recorder to produce his impressive reincarnations of
Tangerine Dream.
My own gear : AN1x (of course), Casio CZ and Kawaï K1 synths, Red Sound∗
"Elevata" and Evolution∗ EVS1 expanders plus an ART multi effect rack.
All purchased second hand for quite nothing : they were too old to be
expensive and not enough to be collector items. My musical influences
for keyboards : progressive rock, the early synth groups like Tangerine
Dream, Kraftwerk .... and, despite i'm french, not J.M. Jarre ! OK, J.M.
Jarre is not a bad musician at all, but too obviously commercial for my
taste; in the same kind i rather like Vangelis.
Cheers
J.F.
∗ 2 british small companies, very inventive but now out of the synth
business. Today Evolution is only an entry level MIDI master keyboards
manufacturer and Red Sound produces only DJ equipment.
