Thanks for taking the time to flesh out the problem description.

I didn't upgrade my old Mac from OS 9 to OS X in place, added a 2nd hard drive, so I had a
dual boot system with none of these implied transition problems. My new Mac came with
OS X preinstalled ;-) Don't know what his issues were with the upgrade...you know what
they say: back-up, back-up, back-up.

Yes, you are correct - PLGs don't transmit SysEx data. As often as this has been discussed,
you'd think I'd have remembered by now...apologies.

I did a few searches on Google and found a number of threads releated to the Regeneraotr
.anp file. The author - Dave Polich - had at one point been providing the .anp file
excluded from the .zip archive on request (back in 2004 it seems.) If he no longer has his
data files, have you approached him (or Keyfax) for permission to contact any of the other
Regenerator users to acquire the missing file? Obviously he wouldn't want his data file
being made available for distribution in a public forum such as this.

No. :-( Unless you consider resampling the sounds and reusing them in another hw/sw
sampler.
