Hey list,
I've been working on a tool for a while to do what easyeda2kicad does, but for Altium. You feed it part numbers and download .IntLibs for Altium with symbol, footprint, step file. There are a few other tools out there that do something like this (not the intlib part, which is hard) but I found them all to be not very good. I worked hard on mine to make it good!
I sell it to people, but I want to offer it as a gift to the synth diy list here. If you use Altium and JLCPCB, it is very awesome.
If anyone is interested, email me off list and I'll set you up. You need a google account of some kind (I'll change that someday, probably ¯\_(ツ)_/¯, it was the most straightforward auth I could manage and I'm not mr-super-web-guy)

This is not veiled advertisement. I use this a ton and I want y'all to have it if you want it. I get so much from this list and have for a long time. I checked recently, 13 years since my first post.
Cheers,
Chris McDowell
