I’m going to close this thread here.

There are several replies currently waiting for moderation. I have read them, but I’m not going to release them, as doing so would only continue a discussion which has moved outside the scope of the list.

The original question asks who is right or wrong in a discussion about corporate behaviour, market practices and the wider consequences of DRM. Whatever the merits of that discussion, this isn’t really what the Synth-DIY list is for, and that thread has already resulted in too much personal friction.

Please leave this subject here and keep further discussion to the technical aspects of synthesizer electronics, design, building, repair, software and related DIY subjects.
