Fwiw: A commercial product that I worked on switched over to alfa, because coolaudio was not selling the chips to them.
So good luck getting them as a home gamer.

Yes I saw that thread, but at that time it was simply about the hassles of dealing with them. At least they had something that looked like a store, with parts and datasheets. Now it is empty.
