[sdiy] FET to short pedal input?

I soldered the fet up to test and my midi 2 cv converter has issues.  Seems like a bad contact on the midi in, will report back when I can test it all out.

Personally, I would build a small circuit board to fit inside the ARP Odyssey and pull power from the synth. Then, all voltages would surely fall within the workable range for a 4066.
